National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship Season events are subject to change to due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship Season highlights the aspirational nature of competition, celebrated in a way unique to PGA Jr. League. Ultimately, it’s a celebration of PGA Jr. League as a whole, and all competitions are designed to have a fun, family-friendly and festival-like atmosphere.
National’s all-in support of the program’s aspirational competitive pathway will include new opportunities for more kids to play more golf in 2021: previously only designated for boys and girls ages 13-and-under (13u program division), the Championship Season will now include those ages 14-17 (17u program division) at the Section and Regional levels.
National has been the PGA Jr. League Championship presenting partner since 2016, aiding in the creation of unforgettable experiences for parents, families, Captains and Coaches throughout Championship week. Their dedication to enhance and elevate the Championship continues in 2021, including by title sponsoring the Championship’s inaugural multiple day live broadcast on select ESPN networks.
The National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship Season is comprised of 13u and 17u All-Star teams formed from a combination of players from each of the teams in a league. An All-Star team will need to compete in and win a Section Championship before advancing to Regional competitions and ultimately, for 13u players only, the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship.
To be eligible to become either a 13u or 17u All-Star, players must first be active PGA Jr. League participants, which is defined as being registered for and participating on a team or teams in the league.
