While the coronavirus pandemic left the fate of PGA Jr. League up-in-the-air in the spring, PGA Jr. League Captains and Coaches were determined to engage with their players and make the best out of uncertain times. They hosted Zoom practices, reached out to previous and newly registered players and stayed connected during quarantine through PGA Jr. League’s Community Page.
When the season resumed in June, these PGA and LPGA Professionals navigated local, state and program guidelines to create healthy and responsible experience for players and their families.
During the 2020 season, PGA Jr. League Captains and Coaches persevered and created an unforgettable season for nearly 37,000 boys and girls across more than 1,700 facilities.
"This was the first year that my sons participated in #PGAJL. They had so much fun playing team golf & it really sparked a love of playing together. They will be able to golf together for the rest of their lives. What a great way for brothers to bond!"
